1. Introduction
Rolling: under certain conditions, the rolling pressure is given by the metal billet through a pair of rotating rolls, which makes the rolled piece a pressure processing way that reduces the thickness, changes the shape of the plate and extends the length. The purpose is to make the rolled piece achieve the specified effect and make it have good surface quality, which is also the most commonly used way of producing steel products.
Metal rolling is mainly divided into hot rolling and cold rolling. Usually, rolling above the recrystallization temperature is hot rolling; rolling below the recrystallization temperature is called cold rolling, which usually refers to the direct rolling of materials at room temperature without heating. The recrystallization temperature of steel is generally within the range of 450?600°C.
Rolling oil is a high saponification value product designed to meet the above process. It has good lubricity, cooling and annealing detergency. It can form a pressure resistant lubricating film on the surface of the strip and roll, reduce the coefficient of friction and increase the corresponding rolling force, and can obtain a satisfactory strip shape, keep the smooth surface evenness, uniform thickness and brightness of the strip.
2. Characteristics of rolling oil
⑴ Functions of rolling oil
Lubricating rolls and rolling pieces can reduce friction between rolls and rolling parts.
During the rolling process, the rolls and the rolling parts are fully cooled.
Clean the surface of the rolled piece and avoid mechanical scratches on the surface of the rolled piece.
